Ramadan Pita

Ingredients:
Main Ingredients
- OBA Flour 5 cups
- 1 cup warm milk
- 1 cup warm water
- 1 tea glass of oil
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 packet of dry yeast
For the top
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
- 1 teaspoon of black cumin seeds
Preparation:
- In a deep bowl, add water, oil, egg, salt, sugar, dry yeast, mix the mixture well, then add flour and start kneading.
- After the dough has a smooth and soft consistency, let the dough rest for 30 minutes.
- We take the rested dough on greaseproof paper and roll it out in circular shapes. We shape our dough by pressing it with our fingertips, forming circular and vertical lines, and decorate our pita with sesame seeds and black cumin by applying egg yolk on it.
- We bake our pita in a preheated 220°C oven until it is nicely browned.
Our pita is ready to serve!
